Churches must not chase people away in the name of promoting politicians or the pastor’s personal motives! Neither should it use business tactics to lure people in. According to 1 Corinthians 12:18, God should be 100% in control of who stays in (or leaves) a church. We simply stick to Jesus’ way of bringing in people (good ol’ fashioned soul-winning!), and we let God work through us to help people stay and grow. We also believe that the King James Bible is the best guide for a New Testament local church - not a sole individual within the church, nor a denominational outfit, and most certainly not any government.

After the Bible study, join us as we pray for many people in need.

To us, “I’ll pray for you” is not a cliché. We want to get a hold of God for the sake of others.

Hello. Please, meet us: I’m Robert and my wife is Mayra. Rob is our son and Mia is our daughter. We are also blessed to have my lovely mother, Rosemary, with us.

Though we are from California and Arkansas, the entire Mohave County scenery makes our new home-state our favorite choice. Lord willing, Arizona will be our final home.

Our church aims to provide every tool you need to build a sturdy foundation in Christ: Bible Preaching and Teaching, Sweet Fellowship, Sincere praying, and Ministries of serving others.

 

Why We are Here:

Our church name says it all. It is the intent of Risen Savior Baptist Church to provide the people of Central Mojave County a bigger arrow that points people to The Risen Savior, Jesus Christ. We would like to do our part in making sure that people hear of Jesus, but specifically, The Saving Jesus! He wasn’t “just a man”; He wasn’t “just a prophet”. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, Mary, spent 33 years of His life on Earth, died a criminal’s death as an innocent Man, ROSE again 3 days later, and is now interceding on our behalf as He sits on the right hand of the Throne of God!

In our secular world today, there are too many different beliefs and teachings that say the exact opposite. It’s obvious that some of these religious and political groups only seek personal profits and advantages; they are willing to bend and twist the truth since it isn’t important to them. There are religious groups who claim to be “Christian”, but deny Christ’s power to save. They reject Jesus as “God in the flesh”. The Pharisees did the same thing too, and they are the ones who conspired with and pressured the Roman Government to kill Jesus. Today, people are using Jesus’ dear Name for profit, to mislead others, and to blaspheme Him.

Our beloved country needs more people to not only have the Truth, but to spread it, and defend it! That’s why we are here. We understand that there are several great churches that are doing their part against these challenges; we just want to make sure we are doing ours. Please be aware that there is so much more to be said, and done! That is why we not only want to meet you, but we NEED you to join us in our efforts in spreading Jesus The Light all around us. We look forward to your visit, your messages, and your calls - all of which are welcome.

If you are not 100% sure that you are going to heaven, please take a short moment to read this:

To claim your spot in heaven, you must accept Jesus as your personal Savior. How? You must have faith that only Jesus can save you from the price of your own sins, and believe that He died and rose from the dead to prove to us that there is more to life than this temporary body here on Earth. (John 11:26) Only then could you be freed from sin. Those who deny Jesus will reject His offer to pay for their sins, which means they must pay for their own sins…in hell! (Revelation 21:8)

Let me now plead to you: let Jesus save you! He already did the hard part by dying on the cross, and all you must do is put your faith in Him. If you want to confirm your trust in Jesus (not religion, government, or yourself) to take the blame for all of your sins so that you can go to heaven, pray: “Dear Jesus, Please forgive my sins. I believe that You died on the cross and rose again to pay for my sins. I am trusting in You alone to save me from hell and to take me to heaven when it’s my time. Thank you Jesus for hearing me. Amen.”
